Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza, an incredible actress who has made a lasting impression across the screens. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican American father and an Irish-American mother in Columbus Ohio. In the next few years, she moved to Texas to pursue an athletic therapy profession within the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last very long in Texas before moving into Orlando Florida where she experienced many acting opportunities such as local independent films and global commercials. The actress quickly discovered her love for the art of acting, despite tiny roles. When she moved from New York, in 2001 she was offered her first acting role on All My Children. Through the early part of 2000, she acted tiny roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was offered her first major series role on the short-lived drama The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano as well as a variety of top TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Pilegge. The most memorable part of her career was in 2006's Law & Order where she was A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was on the show for 85 episodes. Her character then flocked to the short-lived sequel Law & Order: LA. De La Garza's character received numerous nominations which included Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She has also been awarded ALMA Award nods. In 2008, she won one of the Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza was then cast as a recurring actor on CSI Miami. She was Marisol Deko in the role of Horatio Caine's wife. On NBC's dark and dramatic drama Do No Harm she played her character as Dr. Lena Solis. After just two episodes it was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her older sister Cory is 10 years younger than her. She grew up in a family that was conservative and deeply spiritual. Milano was only seven years old older when her babysitter took Milano to a talent show. Four girls were chosen from more than a thousand aspirants. Milano is featured in TV ads, Off-Broadway productions as well as Jane Eyre, the American premiere of Jane Eyre.
